Miss TQI 2011 winner is Thailand !

Kantapat Peeradachainarin, Miss Thailand, is the new Miss TQI 2011. The asian beauty had won over 91 beauties from all over the world. 

Her 1st runner-up is Miss Fernando de Noronha, a Brazilian island that came 3rd in 2007 also. 

2nd runner-up is Miss Belarus, 3rd runner-up (North) China, host country, and completing the top 5 is Miss Tanzania, Nelly Almas, the most perseverant girl of the year, she alone has competed in 4 pageants: Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International,  and this is the 1st time that she places.

Country of the Year 2011 - 6/7

Tras el Miss Earth 2011, y a falta de solo un único certamen del 'Big 7' (Miss TQI) para completar la temporada de 2011, el ranking lo sigue liderando Venezuela, seguido de Filipinas y Puerto Rico.

Cambios en la 4ª posición, Ucrania adelanta a Angola tras clasificar en el Miss Earth, y Brasil sigue 6ª pero cada vez más cerca de los dos países anteriores, gracias a su 2º puesto en Miss Earth.

Ecuador, ganador de este ultimo certamen (y por ahora el único que ha conseguido ganar 2 este año) sube del 12º al 7º puesto. El resto de posiciones en el top 10 continuan como antes.

Otros cambios en el ranking de importancia son la entrada de nuevos paises como Mexico en la 35º posición.

Paises que han clasificado en Miss Earth y que siguen recogiendo grandes resultados este año son Portugal (13º posicion), Suecia (16º) y Zimbabue (19º).

Miss Earth 2011 is Ecuador !

Olga Alava, Miss Ecuador, was crown Miss Earth 2011, at the 11th edition of the pageant, held in Quezon City, Philippines. This is the 2nd consecutive 'Big 7' paeant that Ecuador wins, after their victory in the Miss International 2011 pageant, won by Maria Fernanda Cornejo.

2nd place, Or Miss Air, was Miss Brazil, while Misses Philippines and Venezuela were awarded Miss Water and Miss Fire.

Country of the Year 2011 - 5/7

Tras el Miss Mundo, Venezuela es el nuevo lider del ranking, gracias a la victoria de Ivian Sarcos en Londres. Venezuela sube desde la 8ª posición.

Tambien experimenta una subida Filipinas, 2ª en el ranking y 2ª en Miss Mundo, avanzando desde la 4ª posición que ocupaba antes.

Puerto Rico ocupa ahora la 3ª posición del ranking gracias al 3º puesto en el Miss Mundo, lo que le hace abandonar el 5º lugar anterior. También es el único país que ha clasificado en todos los certámenes del Big 7 celebrados hasta ahora.

El top 5 lo completan Angola y Ucrania, que abandonan el 1º y 2º lugar anterior.

Importantes subidas de Sudafrica y Corea, finalistas en Miss Mundo, que ahora ocupan la 10ª y la 11ª plaza, avanzando desde la 31ª y 33ª posición anterior respectivamente.

España y Suecia, semifinalistas del Miss Mundo, entran en el top 15 y top 20 respectivamente en el ranking.

Nuevos países entran en el top, como los finalistas en Miss Mundo, Escocia e Inglaterra, directamente a la 13ª posición. El resto de semifinalistas de Miss Mundo entran directamente en la 25ª posición.


Ya solo restan 2 certamenes del Big 7 para acabar el año, los cuales son:

Tras el Miss International, el top 3 continúa del mismo modo, con Angola, Ucrania y Brasil liderando.

Puerto Rico y Panamá suben al 5º y 6º puesto respectivamente tras quedar 4ª y 5ª en Miss International. Venezuela regresa al top 10 tras quedar 2ª en este certamen (8ª posicion en el ranking). La ganadora de este última certamen, Ecuador, entra directamente en el ranking en el puesto 10º.

Ya solo queda Puerto Rico como unico pais que ha clasificado en los 4 certamenes hasta ahora.

Miss International 2011 - Ecuador wins!

María Fernanda Cornejo, Miss Ecuador, had won the Miss International 2011 pageant, held in Chengdu, China.
This is the first ever crown for Ecuador in this competition.
Heavy favourite Miss Venezuela, Jessica Barboza, ended up in the 1st runner-up position, while Asia's best this year, surprising Miss Mongolia, Tugsuu Idersaikhan, ended up in the 2nd runner-up spot. Latinas representatives Miss Puerto Rico, Desiree del Río, and Miss Panama, Keity Mendienta, completed the top 5, making a 4/5 latinas in the top 5 this year.
This is also the 6th consecutive year with a latin or Hispanic American winner.
