The 2011 ranking:
The Country of the Year 2011 winner is
Venezuela, for the 3rd consecutive year. Great results for this country (MW crown and runner-up in ME and MInt'l) had carried them to the top once again.
In the 2nd place we have
Philippines, which makes their best result in recent years, especially by being runner-up in MU, MW and ME.
In the 3rd spot we can found
Puerto Rico, making this year their best since 2006. Great results came at MW, MInt'l and MS, where they were runner-up.
After the conclusion of the last pageant of the 'Big 7' in the 2011, Miss Tourism Queen International, we had the last changes in the ranking, and the most important ones were:
Brazil up from 6th to 4th.
China up from 10th to 8th.
South Africa enters the top 10, from 11th place up to 9th.
Thailand's victory means a high jump for them, from 32nd to 16th.
New countries and territories enters the ranking, like: Fernando de Noronha (35th place), Tanzania (45th), Canada & Namibia (52nd), Sri Lanka & Guadeloupe (54th).
